WalMart and Target have the LG VX5500 Verizon prepaid cell phone for $22.88 (These go for $50-$60 elsewhere)
They’re out of stock online, so you need to check stock in your local WalMart store, which can be a pain…They showed “limited stock” at my local stores, so after spending 5 minutes on hold with no answer at the first store I called I hung up and called my second closest store and was told that WalMart hasn’t stocked this phone in stores for more that 6 months. The third closest store was the charm!
This is a good phone for those that want a very basic phone to make and receive calls.

FYI MicroCenter’s specs are wrong - this is a 32MB cache drive (their page says 16MB) - but see the specs for the same model number - here’s NewEgg’s page which correctly shows 32MB cache and Hitachi’s datasheet with specs also lists 32MB cache.
